Faculty of Agriculture is very cooperative, supportive and enthusiastic. We can interact anytime with them. But most of the staff is not qualified with doctoral degree. They are qualified with master’s degree. But some of them have the best knowledge of the concerned subject. The style of teaching for most of the faculty members is by dictating and reading through notes. Only few of the members teach through presentations and projectors. The faculty of Guru Kashi University are well educated, highly qualified as per the norms of UGC and ICAR, New Delhi. Faculty have work experience in their related field. As Agriculture is more a practical subject, teaching is mainly based on field practical and lab experiments. Teachers have full knowledge of handling lab equipments, teaching through practical. Theoretical part is covered through PowerPoint slides, presentations and assignments. Along with prescribed syllabus, teachers also help students in personality development, effective communication and job oriented skills.Read Full Review
