    Overall its a Good University for studying as it has a good environment
    I am currently studying B.Sc. Honors in Mathematics at DAV University. My overall experience is very good. I was interested in mathematics from starting so I chose this course and the fee for this course is also less than other universities. Entry requirements for this course are just to score 60% marks in the science stream with mathematics subject and you can take admission without any entrance.Read Full Review

    DAV University is progressing and developing day by day
    Academic part was really well in our department but it varies from department to department. As academics in MBA department or BAJMC was not enormous. Some departments had brilliant effect in studies but at the same time others had very poor effect. Our department was mostly focused about the theory part rather than lab work, which should be their priority. They should work on their labs and research work. The education system at DAV University is well planned as there is semester system, therefore there are six semesters in all. Every semester students are provided with proper time table for lectures. Every alternate week we had quiz and surprise test and presentations which helped us to boost our confidence and many other activities like science fest, science quiz to be taken care of.Read Full Review

    At DAV you will be taught more life skills than academics
    Just three lectures daily or 15 lectures in a week was the system followed here. BCA, which is more of a lab work, has included way too much theory to learn the subject practically. Labs were on Saturday and that too for one and a half hours. Some departments at the University are great, but definitely not BCA. One should rather look at other choices because my parents questioned the integrity of the College every while because three to four hours at the University and I was back home. They went on to say that even the school has better timings than this. This was true, but I wish they knew the difference between a College and a School.Read Full Review
