Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University is situated in the outskirts of Baripada town in Orissa. The infrastructure of the University is contemporary and reflects Indian culture. The MSCB University Campus is surrounded with greenery, offering a serene atmosphere for students.
Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University campus area is spread over nearly 98.84 acres of land. It is divided into multiple segments like Academic blocks, Administrative blocks, Residential campus, and Guest House. The campus of MSCB University provides all the required facilities such as libraries, hostels, sports & gym facilities, and the list goes on.
Campus life at the University is quite vibrant and progressive. The campus is connected with high-speed Wi-Fi, classrooms and laboratories are ICT enabled, the library is equipped with high-end computers, sports facilities available for physical fitness, CCTV surveillance is there for security, etc.

- Library: The University has a central library, located next to the administrative building of the campus. It contains more than 50,000 text & reference books in various subjects and it is subscribed to 80+ journals and 20+ magazines. Reprographic and computing facilities are available, along with a separate reading room. Students are allowed to borrow books from the library which they must return before filling up their semester exam forms.
- Laboratories: The departmental laboratories at the MSCB University campus are well-equipped with necessary instruments to support students’ practical learning and research. Electronics Lab, Biochemistry Lab, Tissue Culture Lab, Environmental Lab, Research Labs, are some of the laboratories present in the University campus.
- Sports: The infrastructure of the University offers a huge playground which is used for outdoor games like Cricket, Football, Archery, Javelin Throw, etc. Indoor game facilities are also available for Carrom and Chess. The Sports Committee highly encourages students to participate in competitions held at the Inter-Collegiate level, University level, and Zonal & National level. Besides this, there is a Yoga centre set up in one of the academic buildings to engage students in Yoga sessions.
- Hostels: The University campus allows students to stay at the hostels who are away from their homes. There are 4 girls’ hostels and 2 boys’ hostels as of now. The MSCB University Hostels can accommodate more than 500 students and the seats are allotted based on availability & applicant’s position in the merit list. Each hostel has a common room where facilities like indoor games, television, magazines are offered. Furthermore, hostellers can enjoy their daily meals served at the mess.
- Canteen: The University has a canteen located at the centre of the campus. The students & staff visit this place for snacks, quick bites, and refreshments.
- Medical Facilities: There is a dispensary built inside the campus with all the required medical items. To provide healthcare services and medical assistance to the students & staff members, part-time doctors are also available.
- Gymnasium: The gymnasium of the University is fully furnished with modern gym equipment namely, Trade Mills, Massage Chair, Cycling, Dumbbells, and many more. A professional gym trainer is appointed during the gym timings i.e., from 5 AM to 7 AM and 5 PM to 8 PM. Moreover, there is an open gym available at the campus.
- Banking Facilities: To facilitate students with easy banking services, there is a Bank of India branch housed within the campus. Also, 24x7 ATM services are available to fulfill all the banking needs of the students.
