Central University of Odisha (formerly known as Central University of Orissa) [CUO], Koraput established in 2009 is a Central University. CUO Koraput is approved by UGC. Admission in Central University of Odisha is offered in Management, Humanities and Science at UG/ PG/ Doctorate level with scholarship benefits to deserving students.

The University provides admissions to the candidates who are eligible in fulfilling the eligibility criteria and selection process, as per the rules. CUO provides admissions to the candidates who are willing to pursue UG and PG programs as per the marks obtained in Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Located at Sunabeda, the campus of CUO is built in an area of 430.37 acres and is connected to National Highway 26. There are three railway station close to the university namely Koraput Railway Station (24 kms), Damanjodi Railway Station (20 kms), and Dumuriput Railway Station (12 kms). The campus of the university has a vibrant atmosphere as students from all over India and abroad comes to study here and share their cultures, language, and food, which helps the students in evolving.
