I joined the B.Tech program in Information Technology (IT) which is one of most popular stream here because of its practical and employability attributes. The curriculum offers a good blend of core subjects such as programming, algorithms, data structures, databases, networking and some minor subjects in areas like machine learning, artificial intelligence and cloud computing. This multidisciplinary approach ensures the readiness of students for a variety of fields and technologies getting developed. The eligibility criteria involve clearing a common entrance test which is the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) for the B.Tech students. It normally requires around 50% marks in 12th standard with physics, chemistry and Math.

I have chosen the branch Electronics and Communication Engineering which one of the hardware branch in engineering that is also eligible for many software companies, this branch in our college offers good placements to students and the eligibility criteria includes qualification through EAPCET exam and 12th pass.
