ICFAI University Aizawl

The Training and Placement team of ICFAI University Aizawl manages and supervises the recruitment activities on a regular basis. The team looks after the university-industry relationship to facilitate students Summer Internships and final recruitment activities. The team analyses the capabilities and performance level of students to ensure that they are corporate-ready. The Summer Internship programs will help students in understanding the practical applications of their skills to multiple real life scenarios. The Summer Internships connect the practical application and theoretical knowledge of students.

Leading placement companies of the university are Genpact, DoubleTree by Hilton, HDFC, InterGlobe Aviation Limited, etc.

The University’s campus is endowed with multiple amenities necessary for a pleasant academic environment and is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure to meet the requirements of the courses offered by it. The land area covered by the University is around 17.58 acres out of which approximately 43000 sq. ft. area has been used to build the campus. All the classrooms have LCD projectors, AV equipment, and other amenities for the comfort of students. The campus also has facilities such as a Video Conferencing room, Language Lab, IT Lab, Auditorium, and other amenities mentioned below:

• Library: Students can get rich collection of books and journals that supplement the predetermined reference reading materials and textbooks. The collection provides students an opportunity to gain certain knowledge of their subjects beyond the classroom-based curriculum. 13000+ books, 35+ journals, 25+ ICFAI magazines, and 5+ newspapers are being stocked within the library.
• Laboratories: To impart better education and provide practical exposure to the students about their programs, the campus has well-maintained labs.
• Computer Lab: Necessary hardware and software are installed to meet the computing and training requirements of students. A broadband internet connection and multiple operating systems are installed within the lab.
• English Language Lab: To provide students with language training, the lab with around 20 student terminals and one instructor’s terminal has been made within the campus.
• BHTM Practical Rooms: To provide hospitality training to the students of this specific subject, the campus has established labs for housekeeping, food production, and front office training. These facilities provide students with practical experience in the real job market and industries. 
• Sports: Students of this university will find facilities for indoor games like Table Tennis, Carrom, Basketball, etc. Students can take part in different clubs to perform activities like Photography, Dance, etc. The University also has teams in sports like Basketball, Cricket, and Football.
