Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya (also known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University) [MMYVV], Katni established in 1995 is a Private University. MMYVV Katni is approved by UGC. Admission in Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya is offered in Management, Humanities and Science at UG/ PG/ Diploma/ Doctorate/ Certificate level with scholarship benefits to deserving students.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya - MMYVV Katni came into existence in 1995 following the act passed in the Madhya Pradesh Legislature. It is approved by UGC, as a Private University, and is a member of AIU. The university is known to provide Vedic education based on life and modern education. Students pursuing various courses in the university are basically from rural and semi-rural areas.
MMYVV provides courses from Diploma to Doctorate level in several Vedic aspects like Sthapatya Ved-Vastu Vidya, Gandharva Ved-Indian Classical Music, Maharishi Ved Vigyan, Darshan Shastra, etc. Besides the Vedic courses, the other degree courses provided by the university include B.A, B.Com, B.Ed, B.Sc, DCA, PGDCA, M.Sc, etc. Teaching courses of MMYVV are approved by NCTE.

MMYVV awards scholarships to students who meet the eligibility criteria for different scholarships. The University provides scholarships to students pursuing Vedic courses. Moreover, State and National scholarships are awarded to deserving candidates.
