Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Bangalore offers B.Tech program to students through Amrita School of Engineering (ASE). Students who have secured 55% in PCM separately and 60% aggregate in HSC with PCM from any recognised board are offered admissions in the B.Tech program provided by Amrita School of Engineering.

Admissions are granted through any of the following mentioned exams:

• Amrita Entrance Exam
• JEE (Mains)

Paper pattern of Amrita Entrance Exam is as follows:

• Duration of Exam: 2.5 hours
• Questions: Objective type
• Marking Scheme: 3 marks per question
• Negative Marking: 1 negative mark for every wrong answer
• Examination Mode: Computer based Test
• Total Number of Questions per Subject: 40 questions from Mathematics, 30 questions from Physics, 25 questions from Chemistry, and 5 questions from English

To seek admission, students are requested to go through the application process. Before proceeding to fill the application form, students must register for the Amrita Entrance Exam. The registration process for Amrita Entrance Exam is as follows:

Step 1

• Students have to visit the official portal of the University and sign up / sign in using their mobile number or mail id
• Students will receive an OTP on their registered credentials
• Fill the requisite details in the registration form
• Attest latest photograph and signature in digital format

*Mobile number or mail-id will be used as the main mode to share all information related to admission. Students will have to choose 3 cities to give their entrance exam.

Step 2

• Students will have to fill the mentioned details regarding their guardian / parents to proceed

Step 3

• Students will have to select the state from where they have completed their HSC

Step 4

• After completing the profile entry, click on ‘Apply’ button to register for the entrance exam you are willing to take
• Make the payment

Online Admission Process

After qualifying the entrance exam, students are eligible for telephonic counselling. Follow the below mentioned steps to complete the admission process:

Step 1: Seat Allotment Process

• Based on their counseling schedule, students will be called for seat allotment
• Seats will be allotted based on online interview conducted by the institute
• Admissions are based on seat availability as per the schedule of online counseling

Step 2: Verification of Documents / Certificates and Payment of Fess

Students are required to mail the scanned copies of their documents / certificates along with the seat confirmation. Documents to be uploaded are as follows:

• Application Form
• Certificate of class 10^th / Birth Certificate
• Certificate / Mark List of HSC
• Character Certificate
• Transfer Certificate
• Photos of local guardian / parent
• Migration Certificate
• Aadhar card copy
• Recent passport size photograph (colour)
