Central University of Jammu, Jammu established in 2009 is a Central University. Central University of Jammu Jammu is approved by UGC. Admission in Central University of Jammu is offered in Engineering, Management and Humanities at UG/ PG/ Diploma/ Doctorate level with scholarship benefits to deserving students.
Central University of Jammu was established in 2011 and provides higher education in domains of Management, Humanities, and Engineering. Its emphasis is towards holistic development of students by imparting high quality education. It is approved by UGC.
Vision and Mission: It aims to become a leading centre of higher learning by integrating culture, knowledge, value system, science, and philosophy with modern skills, management practices, concepts, and technology. The University is committed to inculcate self-confidence, develop talent, and provide environmentally sustainable, vibrant, and healthy campus to students.
CUJ provides admissions on the basis of merit obtained by students in CUET. The courses provided by the University through its constituent units includes Under Graduation courses in B.Tech, B.Voc, Post Graduation courses in MA, M.Sc, M.Ed, M.Tech, and MBA, Integrated courses like B.A.B.Ed and B.Sc-M.Sc, PG Diploma, and Ph.D. There are however certain eligibility criteria that an applicant should know beforehand. CUJ has a Training and Placement Cell which facilitates suitable placement opportunities to the students in reputed Government Organisations, MNCs, Private Sector, and NGOs. The University works towards enhancing the skills and provides pre-placement training to students.
HCL, Accenture, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, TATA AIG, Audi, NEC, Infotree Global Solutions, DAMCO, Lifestyle, etc. are some of the companies providing placement to students.
CUJ is located in Village Rahya - Suchani in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is at a distance of 7 kms from national highway, 25 kms from Jammu airport, and 24 kms from Jammu-Tawi railway station. It is well connected through state and local transport.
