Sri Sai University is a private university that was established in 2010, under the Sri Sai Group of Institutes, which was founded by Sri Ram Iqbal Bharadwaj in 1996. The university takes admission of both domestic and international students based on merit and scorecard of the national/state-level entrance exam. For some courses, the university conducts its entrance exam and lateral entry in any course is also taken at the University.

Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for taking admission to the university are based on merit, scores on any national/state-level exams, and scores on the entrance exam conducted by the university. For engineering, management, and technical courses students must have qualified JEE, CAT, or MAT, and for research or doctorate courses, qualification of NET or SET is mandatory.
Entrance Exam: Sri Sai University conducts entrance exams for research or doctorate courses as per directed by UGC, that too when the students haven’t already qualified for NET or SET exams.
Document Verification: After completing the application process and fulfilling the eligibility criteria, students will receive an acceptance letter from the university. Students then have to register as a student and go through the document verification process. Documents include mark sheets, certificates, score cards, address proof, identity proof, etc. and for international students, there are additional documents of passport copy, VISA, residential information of India, etc.
Scholarship at the university is given in two categories, the first one is the Dr. Ambedkar Post-Matric scholarship for economically backward students, and it is given to General category students belonging to India. The second category is an academic scholarship, which is given on a merit basis depending on scores of 10th/ 12th/ Graduation, and students who appeared in government entrance exams like JEE mains; NEET, MAT, etc. will get a 25% scholarship from the university.
Two Central Sector Scholarship schemes are implemented by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. The Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for ST students who are pursuing PhD or M.Phil courses and the Top Class Education for ST students is intended to encourage meritorious students who are going to pursue courses at UG and PG level.
The “Kalpana Chawla Chhatravriti Yojna” is a post 10+2 scholarship for top meritorious female students of the state. This scholarship is provided by the state government to ensure that female students have a completion of the degree or diploma course from any recognized institute in the state.
