The Faculty of Engineering and Technology under Manav Bharati University offers a suite of B. Tech programs, including B. Tech (CSE). The Bachelor of Technology (CSE), like all other B. Tech courses, is a four-year program for which students attend classes and training sessions in the university campus. All B. Tech programs enjoy the affiliation of AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and have the approval of UGC.
The objective behind offering this undergraduate program is to develop and nurture employable professionals capable of contributing to computer science engineering sector. The faculty members focus on honing students’ employability skills and shaping their personas so as to enable them to secure lucrative placements in a fiercely competitive and dynamic corporate environment. The course curriculum provides students a robust grounding in basic and advanced programming languages including but not limited to Java, Linux, Python, JavaScript, C, and C++.
The pupils also develop sound knowledge of computer architecture, algorithms, database learning, and calculus. Students, after successful completion of this undergraduate course, imbibe the skills essential for practicing as a proficient programmer. B. Tech (CSE) graduates can apply to jobs such as a technical support engineer, system analyst, testing engineer, and software engineer.
To apply to B. Tech (CSE), candidates have to clear 10+2 final exam with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Additionally, the applicants should have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate in the final qualifying exam. However, final admission will invariably depend on clearing a state or national level entrance exam like JEE (Main) or AIEEE.
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences enlists students for the 4-year B. Pharmacy program approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. The Himachal Pradesh government has also granted its approval to the B. Pharm course offered by Manav Bharati University. The syllabus of this undergraduate pharmacy program equips students with comprehensive knowledge about the different diseases, and the treatment procedures for the same.
The learners pick up the basics of formulating a myriad variety of drugs and medicines as well as understanding the drugs to be prescribed for any particular ailment. Students, once they are through with this pharmacy program, acquire knowledge and imbibe skills to contribute to research and development, quality assurance, drug regulatory affairs, intellectual property rights, marketing, and manufacturing. The basic eligibility criterion for this course is a pass in 10+2 in the science stream, having attained a minimum of 45% aggregate score.
Additionally, the applicant will need to pass a national or state level entrance exam like GATE. All those who did not or could not appear in the state or national level entrance examination, will be required to sit for the entrance test conducted by MBU.
The Bachelor of Computer Applications course offered by the ‘Faculty of Computer Science & Applications’ is a 3-year program recognized by AICTE. Students, during the course of their study period, receive instructions on how to design and develop programs for using on computers. The computer applications relate to blending of myriad programming languages for use on a range of operating systems.
The BCA students develop the capability to create projects, presentations, and documents as well as design and develop portals, and demonstrate skills in operating software programs. The students not only learn through classroom instructions but also by way of hands-on training, thereby enabling them to fine-tune their personalities. The faculty makes available laboratory facilities and equipment, including programming, multimedia, and networking labs indispensable for furthering teaching and research.

The Faculty of Humanities registers students for the MA (English) program which is a fulltime course, having duration of 2 years. This postgraduate course in humanities imparts students with advanced and specialized knowledge about English literature. The program syllabus has been designed and structured in a manner that enables students to fully comprehend their preferred area of academics.
In order to qualify for this master degree course, the candidates need to be B.A. (English Honors) graduates of an approved university or college. Also, the applicants should have attained at least 45% marks in aggregate in the final exam at the graduation level.
