Manav Bharti University, Solan Campus Life
Manav Bharati University is situated at a distance of approximately 35 kms from the Kalka Railway Station and about 65 kms from Chandigarh. The university campus overlooks the Sultanpur Road that is about 6kms away from NH-22 in the district of Solan in Himachal Pradesh. The area skirting the university is immensely picturesque and lush green which instills a feeling of tranquility and placidity in students.
MBU campus houses massive academic blocks which in turn contain well-furnished class rooms equipped with the latest audiovisual teaching and learning aids. Each and every academic building includes lecture halls, class-rooms, and convention centers reinforced with sound amplification and public address systems. There are a total of seven large academic blocks with each block having six floors that house classrooms, administrative offices, library, and workshops.
The entire campus is Wi-Fi companionable which enables all university stakeholders to stay connected at all times. The university campus has a large computer lab containing several PCs and workstations that come in perfectly handy for students. Students are also encouraged to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities so that they can focus on their studies in a better manner.
The campus houses a large library that is fully illuminated and well-ventilated, and contains over 20,000 titles covering different subjects. The library also subscribes to numerous international and national journals, magazines, and periodicals. MBU maintains its own bus fleet that ply to towns and municipalities situated within a radius of 50 kms around the campus. MBU also organizes various social and cultural events from time to time for the entertainment of students, faculty members, and administrative personnel.
