Eternal University [EU], Sirmaur established in 2008 is a Private University. EU Sirmaur is approved by NCTE, AICTE, INC, UGC, SIRO, DSIR, DBT and ICAR, and is accredited by DRDO and NAAC. Admission in Eternal University is offered in Engineering, Management and Humanities at UG/ PG/ Doctorate level with scholarship benefits to deserving students.
Eternal University is situated in Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, and was established back in the year 2008. The university is situated in the Valley of Divine Peace in Himachal Pradesh and is constructed as a modern gurukul. The university is accredited with the NAAC and is ISO 9001:2015 certified. It was established under the HP Private University Act 2006. The university was approved by UGC in 2011. That means after 2011 Eternal University started awarding the degree to its students as per the rules of the UG Council. It is considered as the first only girls' university in North India. It was recognized in the year 2019 as the 20th best higher education institute in India by the Education Brainiac magazine. It was rated as the Top & Safest private university for girls by the Seasonal Magazine in 2015. In 2018 the university was also certified as the 10 best women's education and empowerment institutes in India.
The university is recognized by the AICTE, NCTE, DRDO, and INC. The institute is certified by the HPPERC, Minority Educational Institute, and ARIIA. The biotechnology courses offered at the university are approved by the DBT. The research programs at the university are approved by the DSIR and SIRO. The university is ranked by NIRF consecutively year after year. The institute offers numerous undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various streams. And they also offer Doctorate programs are also offered at the university in numerous disciplines.
The university has various departments on the campus. The courses at the university are offered under various colleges that are situated on the campus itself. They offer various courses in Agriculture, Basic Sciences, Health & Allied Sciences, and Education. Other streams offered at the university are Engineering & Technology, Arts & Social Sciences. And for the courses related to commerce, they have a department named as Economics, Commerce & Management courses in one place.
Eternal University accepts both online as well as offline admission forms from the students. The students can even send their forms by post to the university. After filling out the form the student has to appear for the entrance exam which is conducted by the Eternal University itself. The candidate has to score a minimum of 50% marks in the entrance exam to be eligible for admission.

Documents required
Eternal University offers various scholarships that are funded by the university itself and by the central government. They are:
Merit basis concession: It is applicable only in the first semester at the university. It is provided to both UG and PG students taking admission at the university on the basis of the last results.
Real sister: 50% of the concession is provided to the elder sister till the time both sisters are studying at the same university. And later when the elder sister completes her course then the younger sister has to pay 100% of her fee.
Concession for needy students: 100% concession on fees is provided to the students whose parents passed out due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Special scholarships: 25% concession on the fee to the wards of defense personnel and single girl child.

The Eternal University is set up in the midst of serene beauty and in a pollution-free environment. The university provides with all the basic facilities and amenities. And the university caters to excellent infrastructure for the students as well as for the faculty and staff members. The university has many buildings with numerous floors which accommodate various departments. The university even has a Gurudwara in the center which is surrounded by halls and lecture rooms where students practice music. There is a governing body hall at the university which is used to organize various meetings. The university has facilities like printing and Xerox for the convenience of the students. Bhai Gurdas Hall: It is a big hall that can accommodate more than 400 people at a time. The hall has a sound system and LCD projector installed so that it can be used for multiple events. And the hall also has a green room and rest room at the backstage for the participants in various cultural programs conducted at the university.
Auditorium: The auditorium of the university has a seating capacity of around 200 people at a time. It can be used to organize small departmental functions or meetings. It has all the audio and visual aids installed in the auditorium. It has a spacious green room for the students usage behind the stage.
Hostel facilities: There are two separate edifices for hostels at Eternal University. They have single, double, triple, and four-bed occupancy for the students. They have common washrooms on each floor. The Ph.D. scholars are provided with rooms that have attached washrooms. The rooms are well-furnished with a bed, study desk for each student, chair, almirah, etc. there are common rooms on each floor for the students to study and interact with each other. They have a mess for the hostellers which is run by Kalgidhar Trust.
Akal charitable Hospital: The institute runs a non-profit hospital that serves and treats the students of the institute.
Library: It consists of more than 42k books from various authors belonging to national and international origins. The library even has subscriptions to more than 50 national and international printed magazines, journals, and periodicals. There are numerous systems at the library and students even get Wi-Fi facilities to connect their laptops in the library.
ATM & Banks: the institute has branches of two major banks SBI and PNB. And 24x7 functional ATM for the convenience of the students and staff staying at the campus of Eternal University is available.
