Arni University

Arni University (AU) is situated in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, and was established back in the year 2009. AU is a private university that is approved by the UGC and PCI. All the engineering and technology programs provided at AU are approved by the AICTE. AU is also approved by the HP-PEEC as well as the DHE, Shimla. Arni University is a member of ISTE, New Delhi, and AIU. The university has collaborations with the CGIA Institute, Campus World, and Aspire Business School, Barcelona.

AU offers various M.Phil, UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs to the students. At AU various certification and diploma courses are offered. The university has various departments which offer various courses to students. They are the School of Arts & Humanities, School of Business, as well as School of Technology. Other schools at the university are Legal Studies, Basic Science, Horticulture & Agriculture, and Pharmacy & Paramedical Studies. All these above-mentioned departments offer numerous courses to the students at the university.

The main aim of the university is "Bringing Ambition to life", thus they work together to achieve this motto. The main aim of the institute is to become the number one choice amongst the students and the university is working tirelessly for the same. It is the only university in the area, there is no other university in almost 100 km of the distance. The educational programs are offered of the highest quality and the students are taught by the best of faculties.

Arni University allows students to apply through offline and online registration forms from the applicants. The applicants can apply by the following methods:

• For obtaining online forms the applicants can simply fill out the form from the Website of Arni University.
• Or the applicant can download the application form from the Website of Arni University. It should be attached to the scorecards if any competition exam is given by the applicant.
• Or the applicant can simply visit the admission office of the university for any doubts or for obtaining the hard copy of the admission form.

AUCET is conducted by the University for granting admissions. The candidate can even win scholarships if he/ she performs well in AUCET.

Reservations (Seats)

• 25% of the total no. of all the seats are kept aside for the candidates of Himachal Pradesh.
• 3% of the seats are kept aside for physically disabled students.
• 15% of the seats are kept aside for the candidates from scheduled caste.
• 7.5% of the seats are kept aside for the candidates from scheduled tribe.
• 10% of the seats are kept aside for students from IRDP or BPL category.

Eligibility Criteria

For UG Courses

For BBA: The applicant should have scored at least 45% in the 12th standard and can be from any stream.

For BCA: The applicant should have scored at least 45% in the 12th standard and can be from any stream. For BCA (LEET) course at the university, the applicant should have completed a 3-year diploma in engineering after the 10th standard. Or anyone who has completed a 1-year diploma in IT or computer applications after the 12th standard can apply at the university for BCA (LEET) course.

For BHMCT: The applicant should have scored at least 45% in the 12th standard and can be from any stream. For BHMCT (LEET) course at the university, the applicant should have completed a 3-year diploma in hotel management after the 10th standard. And should have scored aggregate 45% marks in the qualified exam.

For B.Pharm: The applicant should have cleared 12th standard with physics and chemistry as major subjects along with Biology or Mathematics as one of the optional subjects. The admission is granted on a merit basis, which are marks obtained in the 12th standard.

For B.Tech: The applicant should have scored at least 45% marks in 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as major subjects. And the applicant should be able to present a valid scorecard of any of the entrance tests like JEE or HP-CET. Or the applicant should have scored a minimum of 55% in the 12th standard with PCM as the major subject. The university even allows lateral entry in 2nd year and is known as the B.Tech LEET (lateral).

For PG Courses

For MBA: The applicant should have gained a minimum of 50% marks in UG course in any stream. And the applicant should be able to present a valid score card for the entrance test like HP-CET or CAT or CMAT. Or the applicant should have scored a minimum of 60% in the UG course in any stream from a recognized institute.

For M.Tech: The applicant should have gained a minimum of 50% marks in BE or B.Tech. And the applicant should be able to present a valid score card for the entrance test like HP-CET or GATE. Or the applicant should have scored a minimum of 60% in BE or B.Tech from a recognized institute.

For MCA: The applicant should have gained a minimum of 50% marks in graduation degree with mathematics as one of the major subjects in either UG or 10+2. And the applicant should be able to present a valid score card for the entrance test like HP-CET. Or the applicant should have gained a minimum of 60% in the UG course with mathematics as one of the major subjects. The university even allows lateral entry in 2nd year and is known as the MCA LEET.

Note: Extra 5% relaxation is provided to the SC/ST applicants in the eligibility criteria of each course.

Arni University offers various scholarships to the students. The university offers scholarships worth more than 3 crores every year to the students who are eligible for any of the scholarships. Scholarships worth the value of 1.5 crores are awarded to the meritorious students who perform well in the AUCET exam that is conducted by AU. Some of the scholarships are:

• Government-funded scholarship for SC/ ST/ OBC students
