NIILM University is situated in Kaithal, Haryana, and was established back in the year 2012. NIILM is one of the best private universities in Haryana. NIILM is approved by the UG Council. And the law courses of the institute are approved by the BCI.
The university offers various Certificate, Diploma, UG, and PG courses to the students. And PhD and M.Phil courses are also offered at the institute. There are a total of 9 different schools offering a variety of courses to the students at NIILM. The institute offers courses in Law, Hotel Management & Tourism, Arts, and Management. As well as various courses in Media & Mass Comm., Fashion, Science, and Engineering are also available at the university. A separate department for Computer Science and Technology is also located at the institute offering BCA and MCA. Computer certificate programs are also offered at the University for the Skill Development of the students.

After submission of the application form, an entrance exam is conducted by the NIILM for the applicants. And then counseling is held for the students who clear the entrance exam and then admission is granted at NIILM University.
Eligibility Criteria
For UG programs
For LLB: The student should have completed a graduation course in any stream. The percentage required for general category students is 45%. And for SC/ ST it is 40% and for OBC it is 42%.
For BBA: The student should have passed 12th standard by opting for any stream. The percentage required for general category students is 50%. And for SC/ ST it is 47.5%.
For BA LLB: The student should have passed 12th standard by opting for any stream. The percentage required for general category students is 45%. And for SC/ ST it is 40% and for OBC it is 42%.
For B.Sc (Hotel Management): The student should have passed 12th standard by opting for any stream. The percentage required for general category students is 55%. And for SC/ ST it is 50%. And diploma holders in the tourism industry from any recognized institute are eligible for lateral entry in the course at the university.
For PG programs
For MBA: The student should have completed a graduation course by opting for any of the streams. The percentage required for general category students is 45%. And for SC/ ST it is 42.5%. And for differently abled and blind students the minimum marks required are 40% only.
For MCA: The student should have completed a degree in BCA. The percentage required for general category students is 50%. And for SC/ ST it is 45%.
M.Com: The student should have completed B.Com course. The percentage required for general category students is 45%. And for OBC it is 42.5% and for SC/ST it is 40% only.
For Ph.D. programs: The student must have completed his/her PG degree with a minimum of 55% marks and for SC/ST the same is 50% only.
Documents required for international students
NIILM University awards various scholarships to the students for financial assistance. They are:
Gifted Girls and Girl Genius (GGGS): It is for the girls belonging to the underprivileged section of the country and abroad. Under this 100% tuition fee waiver and free boarding and lodging if required.
Merit Basis: Students are awarded with 75% to 100% scholarship on the basis of merit-cum-need based exam conducted by the NIILM University. An interview is also conducted for confirming the eligibility of the student for the scholarship.
For SC/ ST students: 100% repayment is available at the university for eligible students from the scheduled castes. It is funded by the state government.
The placement team of NIILM University takes the responsibility of transforming the students into professionals by the end of the course. The transition is done smoothly.
