To provide the students with industrial knowledge and to develop their overall personality, the university has established a Student Counselling and Placement Cell. This cell helps the students in developing a basic knowledge of multifarious activities related to animal health and welfare. It interacts and maintains healthy relations with the animal husbandry departments like the dairy industry, pharmaceutical industry, livestock breeding, meat industry, banking & insurance sector, etc so that the university can invite them to the campus for an interaction session with the students. This cell fills the professional gap between the student and the industry by organising a range of seminars, workshops, conferences, industrial visits, etc. It trains the students to take special care of the animals and works to improve the personality and skills of the students.

Situated on Chandigarh National Highway, approximately 4 km away from the city of Hisar, the university offers world-class facilities and infrastructure. The university is spread in an area of 300 acres offering excellent exposure and learning to the students. The infrastructure of the campus fulfills all the academic, social, and extra-curricular needs of the students by creating an environment that supports research and innovation. For the entrainment and fun of the students, LUVAS organises various fun activities like Cultural, Literary, Fine Arts, and Theatre. The classrooms at the university are world-class with comfortable seating arrangements and modern teaching facilities, the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and disease investigation labs with other amenities and services like:

• Laboratories: The University has a range of labs that enhance the overall practical knowledge and concepts of the students. There is a Central Lab, a Disease Investigation Lab, an ETT-IVF Lab, and an Antibiotic Residues & Pesticides Testing Lab. All these labs are dedicated to providing practical training in various sections.
• Library: The University has a well-stocked and functioning library that executes and supports the academic programs and needs of the students and the university. It always works on providing updated and latest information and knowledge to the researchers. The library facilitates the student by providing both online and offline academic material like more than 2300 books, 690+ e-books, printed national & international journals, e-journals, newspapers, magazines, project works, reports, etc. A reading room with a comfortable seating area is present in the library along with internet and computers to facilitate research smoothly.
• Hostel: The University has well-furnished and spacious hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are three boys’ hostels and one girl’s hostel with a Wi-Fi facility, a student-friendly environment, open lawns, etc. The rooms of the hostels are well-ventilated, spacious, clean, and maintained. For the safety of the hostellers, the warden, and security guards are present on the hostel campus along with CCTV cameras. Excellent mess facilities are provided to the students which facilitates them with healthy, delicious, and home-like food. To provide the hostellers with extra-curricular activities and to eliminate their boredom, the hostel campus has facilities like a mini gymnasium, badminton court, reading area, mini canteen, etc.
• Sports: The University provides excellent sports facilities and infrastructure to the students as it has various indoor and outdoor games for both boys and girls. Expert sports coaches and trainers are present in the university to provide training to students in a range of sports like Table Tennis, Kabaddi, Boxing, Wrestling, Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Korfball, Swimming, Badminton, Handball, Football, etc. The university also motivates its students to participate in inter-college, inter-class, and inter-veterinary sports activities. There is a well-built and equipped gymnasium that helps the students stay fit throughout the year.
