As I said favorites were picked and chosen from the 2nd semester. The management was more interested in what business does our family has and how you can contribute to your family business. Rather than doing a peanut job contribute to your family business. All this was said because they knew they can’t get them placed. Most of the students too were not bothered about jobs. Since I wasn’t there in their list of favorite contenders, I was given a beautiful pep-talk on how I can contribute to my father’s transport business and all. Some companies that visited the campus include the likes of Hero Moto Corp, Ceat Tyres, and RPG Life Sciences among others. There was an industrial tour organized to Canada. However, we had to pay a lot of money to go on that tour. Many students like me had to tell our parents that this tour would help us get placed, and that is why more than half the class went on that tour. We did visit some industries but industries of bigger magnitude than those are in Gurugram so that tour was in a way waste. After all this drama and all, a placement session was held at the campus. Since the Goenka’s are not into IT business, they could help the IT students much as hardly any students got placed. I don’t know the current scenario, but I wish industries could start making their way to GDGU.Read Full Review
