Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya (also known as Bhagat Phool Singh Women's University) [BPSMV], Sonipat established in 2006 is a State University. BPSMV Sonipat is approved by AICTE and UGC, and is accredited by NAAC-B++. Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya was established as a Gurukul for girls in 1936 and was converted to a University by the name of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya in 2006. It is also known as Bhagat Phool Singh Women's University and is committed to impart quality, easily accessible, and affordable education to rural women. BPSMV aims to help women acquire skills and knowledge, develop their self-esteem and character, and help them recognise their responsibilities and rights thus, making a difference in their lives. It is the first State Women University in North India which is accredited by NAAC with “B++” grade and approved by UGC.

BPSMV has a University Placement and Counseling Cell (UPACC) which acts as an intermediary between the students and the employer. It facilitates counseling services and placement opportunities for the students and organises counseling camps to cater to their educational, career, and psychological related issues. It also organises training programs which helps the students in enhancing their skills and develop their personality. UPACC conducts pre-placement talks, group discussions, mock interviews, and aptitude tests. Along with this, the cell has organised Industry Academia Conclave to enhance the employability skills of the students. Some of the activities conducted by the Cell include orientation programs, guest lectures, resume writing, personality development programs, and counseling sessions. It ensures that the students are provided with adequate internship and placement opportunities.
BPSMV is spread over 500 acres and has a lush green and pollution free environment. Students are provided world class infrastructure and facilities for their growth and development.
