BMU University is situated in Rohtak, Haryana, and was established back in the year 2012 under the aegis of Baba Mastnath Math. BMU is a private self-financed university. The university has gained approval from various boards and bodies for various courses. BMU is recognized by the AICTE and UGC. And the law courses at the university are approved by the BCI. The pharmacy and nursing courses at the university are approved by the PCI and INC respectively. And the Ayurveda courses at the university are approved by the CCIM. And the courses in education are approved by the NCTE, respectively.
BMU has numerous faculties at the university and offers various courses in those streams to the students. And under these faculties, more than 70 different courses are offered by the University for the Students to choose from. The university offers various Doctorate, UG, and PG courses to the students in various streams. They are:
The university has designed its curriculum especially to impart quality education to the students by the introduction of a scheme known as the Annual Quality Assurance Exercise. The university imparts education that is locally applicable and globally relevant. The students are motivated to do research-based studies from the UG level so that they can apply what they learn in practical life. The priority of the institute is to do holistic development of the students. So that by the end of the course they are ready to take up jobs or are well prepared for higher education. The institute even provides with faculty training for the faculty members of the institute. This concept is introduced mainly for providing with the best education to the students.
Baba MastNath University accepts both online as well as offline application forms of the students. The students can apply to the university in three different ways. They are:
Reservations: 25% of the total number of seats is set aside for the applicants of Haryana. And 10% out of this is reserved for the candidates from the SC/ ST/ OBC.
Eligibility Criteria
For BAMS: For doing BAMS at BMU student has to clear his/her 12th standard in the PCB stream. And the student should have cleared the NEET exam.
For BBA: For doing BBA at BMU student has to clear the 12th standard from CBSE or HBSE board or any recognized board.
For BPT: For doing BPT from BMU the student should have cleared 12th standard with PCB stream along with English as a major subject. And should have obtained 50% marks in PCB and the same for the scheduled castes is 40% only.
For MBA: For doing MBA at BMU the student should have done a UG degree of a minimum of 3 years. And should have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in UG exams.
For MCA: For doing MCA the student should have completed a BCA degree in UG course. Or should have done B.Sc. / B.Com. / BA with mathematics as a major subject in UG or 12th class. And should have scored at least 50% marks in the graduation course and the same for scheduled castes is 45% only.
For LLM: For doing LLM from BMU the student should have done LLB with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
There are numerous other programs available at the university. And has a vast choice of courses both at the UG and PG levels for the students.

Baba MastNath University provides with numerous scholarships for the students. The university provides with various financial aids for the students. They are:
Orphan child scholarship: A 50% scholarship is provided to the student who has lost his/ her father only or both the parents. The student who wants to claim the scholarship has to present the university with the death certificates of the passed away parent.
Sibling scholarship: 25% scholarship is provided to the siblings till the time both are studying at the university. The fee concession is provided to both the siblings studying at the university.
Scholarship for the child of an employee of BMU: A 25% scholarship is provided to the wards of the employees of the institute. The only condition for the student to be eligible for claiming the scholarship is that the parent should have been serving the university for a year or more than that.
Scholarship for single girl child: A 25% of scholarship is provided to the single girl child by the university.
Scholarship for physically handicapped students: A 25% of scholarship is provided to the physically challenged child by the university.
Special concession for the old students of BMU: No processing fee is charged to the old students of BMU. The students who have studied previously from any of the institutes of the BHU group then he/ she will be eligible to claim the concession. The students who have completed their schooling at BM school or BMU can also apply for it.
Sports Scholarship: The percentage of the scholarship which is to be provided is decided as per the norms of BMU.
Government Scholarships: The University provides with all government-funded scholarships. The student can apply for any such scholarship which is applicable to his/ her chosen course.
Note: All the above-mentioned scholarships are applicable for the whole duration of the course at the university. All the above scholarships can be availed only if the student scores more than 60% marks each semester. And there should be no backlogs in the academic career of the student. In case of backlogs, the scholarship is withdrawn by the university for the semester and is renewed after the clearance of the back paper.
Merit scholarship: The scholarship concession on fee is applicable only for the first academic year at the university.
Note: The above-mentioned scholarship does not apply to Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Law in UG courses. And in PG courses it does not apply to Pharmacy, Law, and Physiotherapy.
BMU has a Training and Placement Cell that works tirelessly for the whole year. The training and placement cell of the university has a team of experts in the field that manages to bring the best recruiters at the time of placement. The team includes training and placement team along with career counselors and an entrepreneur development team. The cell works on the overall growth of the student from the very first day at the university. The cell provides with special lectures and workshops for improving communication, leadership, entrepreneurship, and other skills required for employability.
The team also organizes talks by industry experts as well as industry visits for the students. And the team aims to consistently bring the best of recruiters from the PAN India level. The team targets to find placements for 40% of students from the entire streams to be placed for higher packages as compared to the last year's packages. And the team also aims to place at least 10% of the students for packages with more than 10 LPA.

At BMU students are encouraged to take up internships during the final or pre-final year at the university. The students are motivated to take up an internship in the IT or core fields. The institute believes that internship helps in the overall development of the student. And internships provide with exposure to the students to the industry and its challenges. And internship opportunities are provided by the department or by the placement cell of the university to the students. It is part of the campus recruitment activity at BMU.
BMU Uni has a world-class infrastructure. The labs and classrooms of BMU are installed with the latest technologies. The university has a lush green campus and various other facilities for the students. They are:
Library: The library of the university is common for all the faculties. The library is divided into general and departmental libraries. The general library of BMU is spread over the area of three floors. Consisting of OERC, stack room and computer area, and reading room. The library contains more than 1,48,000 books. And the library has subscriptions to more than 10 newspapers and 40 periodicals for the students. And there is a separate section for the students where they can get study material for the NET exam.
Hostel Facilities: The University has an accommodation facility for around 500 boys and 200 girls on the premises of the campus only. They provide single occupancy rooms to the PG and final year students. There is a separate mess for the hostel students at the university. And visitors are allowed to visit the hostel premises on holidays only for a particular time.
Hospital: The institute comprises an eye hospital and a general hospital for the regular needs of the students. The students can visit the hospitals for regular checkups and consult the doctors at any time they feel uneasy. There is physiotherapy as well as a dental hospital at the institute for meeting the medical needs of the students. And these hospitals are functional for the students as well as for the outsiders.
Auditorium: There are 2 auditoriums at BMU. They can accommodate more than 1600 people at a time in the auditorium. They are installed with the latest audio and video equipment. And have special lighting arrangements for organizing various cultural and other programs at the university.
Sports: The institute emphasizes the students to participate in sports activities. They have sports facilities for various games at the institute such as football, badminton, basketball, cricket, table tennis, volleyball, and many more. To promote game spirit amongst the students the institute offers goodies and cash prizes to the students. These are awarded to the students who win medals in sports activities that are organized by the university.
Bank/ ATM: BMU has three banks on the campus of the institute; they are Canara, PNB, and ICICI bank. The students can carry out their banking needs with the help of bank personnel present at the institute. They have ATMs installed at the university to meet the daily cash needs of the students.
Cafeteria: The canteen of the institute only serves healthy food items. And unhealthy food items are totally banned at the canteen for the benefit of the students. They only serve immunity-boosting food items to the students to keep them healthy and fit. And it is the most visited place by the students on the campus as they come here to relax and refresh.
