National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration [NIEPA], New Delhi established in 1962 is a Deemed to be University. NIEPA New Delhi is approved by UGC and MoE (MHRD). Admission in National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration is offered in Humanities, Teaching and Degree at Diploma/ Doctorate level.
National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), a premiere organisation was established in the year 1962 by the Ministry of Education (Formerly known as Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India. It deals with capacity building and research in planning and management of education in India as well as South Asia. The institute got Deemed to be University status in August, 2006. NIEPA is fully maintained by the Government of India and is accredited by NAAC with “A” grade.
Vision: The vision of the institute is to emerge as a humane learning society by achieving advanced knowledge.
Mission: It promotes advanced level teaching, research, and capacity building nationally and internationally to become a center of excellence in educational policy, planning and management.
NIEPA offers Diploma, Doctorate, and M.Phil level courses. Both full time and part time Ph D. programs are offered by the institute. The multiple programs run by the institute are headed under the following departments.

Interested candidates who want to enroll to the institute must be aware that the admissions are based on the criteria stated by the institution considering the guidelines and norms laid by UGC and other statutory/regulatory bodies. National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration Fee Structure
The campus of the university is located on Sri Aurobindo Marg, in South of New Delhi with its area spreading over 3.75 acres. Being funded by the Central government the institute makes sure to provide all the amenities required for students to stay comfortably and achieve their career goals.
