Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Delhi uses the second floor of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW)’s hostel for the residence of its students. This hostel can accommodate a total of 45 students. The same has been in effect since the 2013 batch of Dr. BR Ambedkar University. The management and supervision of the hostel is taken care of by the warden of IGDTUW. This decision had been taken by the Coordination Committee for the overall welfare of the students residing in the hostel.
Students of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University are expected to abide by the set of rules and regulations laid out in the hostel guidelines of IGDTUW. Ambedkar University hostel rules include maintenance of discipline, maintaining the decorum and not indulging in activities such as smoking and drinking. The hostels are well-connected to the internet via high speed Wi-Fi facilities.

The seats in BRAU Delhi are reserved for certain categories. 15% seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes, 27% for OBCs of Delhi, 3% for students who are handicapped visually and 1% for people who are outstanding in sports.
