The Department of Computer Science started offering the B. Tech (computer science and engineering) course in AY 1983-1984. B. Tech (CSE) is a four-year fulltime, on-campus program that equips with thorough knowledge about engineering basics, science, and mathematics. Students also pick up the fundamentals of an engineering specialty which eventually helps them to solve complicated engineering problems.
The meticulously devised curriculum allows learners to develop the capability to spot, plan, explore literature, and assess intricate problems in engineering using fundamentals of engineering sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics. Once students complete this B. Tech degree course, they become proficient in designing and developing software, also test, and evaluate user requirements. Additionally, the budding computer engineers acquire a sound knowledge on up-and-coming software techniques and tools.
A student interested to apply to this program should clear the 10 +2/Intermediate exam and achieve a minimum 60% in aggregate. The subject combination during the high school study period should be mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Additionally, the candidate has to achieve the prescribed cutoff marks in the KLEEE/JEE-Advanced/JEE-Main or any other state level engineering entrance exam to secure admission.
Having a merit certificate in a specific cultural or sporting activity will improve the candidate’s chances of securing admission.
The KLEFSA (KLEF School of Architecture) offers the 5-year B. Arch program which has the approval of Council of Architecture (CoA). The program instills in students the competence to design eco-friendly buildings and structures that are aesthetically appealing. Any student who has cleared the 10+2 pattern of examination with at least 50% marks in mathematics, physics, and chemistry in aggregate can apply.
Furthermore, the applicant has to clear the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) or the JEE (Main) B. Arch entrance test.
The 5-year integrated B.B.A. LL.B program offered by KLEF College of Law strives to integrate legal education together with business management.
