The K L University campus with acreage of 100 acres straddles across the banks of the Krishna River on Buckingham Canal. Guntur and Vijayawada cities are 20kms and 8 kms away respectively from KLU. The campus houses 4 Centers of Excellence, 6 industry collaboration labs, 25 research labs, and 74 academic labs.
The institution maintains a fleet of 86 buses (2 A/C and 84 non-A/C buses) that ply to and from significant pick-up points in Guntur, Vijayawada, and other towns in the vicinity.
