Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies Faculty Profile, New Delhi

The faculties in the BBA (FIA) program of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies are aware of a lot of things and all have Ph.D from various top institutes of the country and abroad. They also have real world corporate exposure before they started teaching. Most professors encourage critical thinking and group discussion with an active learning atmosphere. Most of the teachers use modern teaching methods while some use traditional teaching methods. The teachers in the BMS program at SSCBS are aware of a lot of things, and most have advances degrees and important work experience. They real-life ideas into the theoretical concepts, thus making classes interactive, interesting, and correlated with real business situations. Most professors encourage critical thinking and group discussion with an active learning atmosphere. Some teachers, however, tend to lecture more so sometimes may seem old-fashioned and less interesting. Also while more professors are friendly and helpful, a few may be harder to reach outside of class. The faculty of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies is overall good but still requires upgrading as this college is called the best undergraduate BBA college in India. Most of the teachers lack the education of current technology. They still teach on the conventional technology which leads to lack of overall development of students. The background of these faculty members is good since most of them are Ph.D holder but they did it long ago and not updated with current education techniques.Read Full Review
