All the teachers have great expertise in their respective subjects. The method of teaching includes both white boards and PPTs, group discussions, etc are helping to make the class interactive, and certain graded activities are too there for core subject, which are evaluated under student's continuous assessment. There are on average 70 students in a class with one teacher, for optional subjects it varies. Faculty members are good. Most of them have PhD degree. Some are even MBA or CA and CS who left their corporate life and entered in this sector. The knowledge they provide about education, practicality, and corporate life is top notch. The faculties in the BBA (FIA) program of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies are aware of a lot of things and all have Ph.D from various top institutes of the country and abroad. They also have real world corporate exposure before they started teaching. Most professors encourage critical thinking and group discussion with an active learning atmosphere. Most of the teachers use modern teaching methods while some use traditional teaching methods. Each student is given an option to select a faculty member as his mentor for the whole duration of his/her program thus encouraging students to do real life projects, etc.Read Full Review
