Andhra University not only focuses on academics but also on shaping students' careers by instilling in them soft skills and technical knowledge required by the industry. The Cell has established relations between industry and academics. It works tirelessly to ensure its students excel in their chosen career. To make sure that every graduate is placed in their desired job, it conducts several activities like Seminars, Workshops, Mock Interviews, Placement Drives, etc.

Some of the prominent recruiters of the university include big names like, Apple, Tata Consultancy Services, Amazon.com, Google, Deloitte, Transcend, DBS, ITC, Dr. Reddy’s, Atlassian, Technip Energies, United Online, Covalense Digital, and more.

Andhra University’s main campus is located at Karaka Chettu Polamamba Road, Waltair, Visakhapatnam and covers 425 acres of land. The campus has many buildings with state-of-the-art teaching and research infrastructure for the all-round development of its students. The systematic budgetary planning and investment from several sources have led to the maintenance and addition of new infrastructure facilities in the campus.

At present, there are 58 departments, 16 research centers, 300+ classrooms, 76 seminar halls, and computer and GIS laboratories on the campus to support the student progression in academics. An Incubation Centre was recently developed to promote entrepreneurship and start-ups among the young generation. AU has ultra-modern infrastructure facilities to organise sports and cultural events. Several auditoriums like, K.V. Gopala Swamy Open Air Theatre, Gowtham Buddha, Sri Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy Utsavarangam, multipurpose Convention hall, and T.L.N Sabah Hall with different seating capacities are constructed to conduct various programs in the university. More details on the infrastructure facilities in AU campus are covered in the following points:

• Canteen:  Multi-cuisine canteens in the campus cater to   the hunger requirements of the students and staff. Separate table arrangements in all the canteens are made for girl students.
• Transportation: The University operates a fleet of buses, cars, jeep, and other means of transportation. The buses ply on different routes and ensure a comfortable commute for students, staff, and visitors.
• Library: The Central Library of the university is known by the name of Dr. V.S. Krishna Library. It is among the best libraries in the state with a rich collection of over 5,35,000 books, 9,000+ journals, 89,000+ back volumes, 8,400+ e-journals, 110+ Indian journals, and more printed and digital learning resources. It is fully automated and has an internet browsing centre with over 80 computer systems. There are separate libraries in every constituent college of the university. A separate section of Braille books has been developed for visually impaired students.
• Hostel: A total of ten hostels in the university premises accommodates students coming from far-off locations. Separate hostels are constructed in the campus for girls, research students, engineering students, etc. Following are the hostels built-up in the premises: Arts & Commerce Hostel, Vidya Tarangini Vihar Hostel, Ladies Hostel, Maharanipeta, Science & Technology Hostel, Vidya Pragathi Hostel, Law Hostel, International Students Hostel, Engineering Hostel, Research Hostel, and Engineering Ladies Hostel.
• Sports: Sports facilities in the university spread over 10 acres of land in the south campus. Many events are organised in the Tennis Court in the South campus which is of international standards. A sports complex is housed on 30 acres of open space with outdoor sports facilities like Volleyball court, cricket grounds, basketball court, running tracks, etc. There is a high roof indoor stadium built in the premises with four badminton courts and a boxing ring.  Gymnasiums exist in both north and south campuses and are equipped with modern machines. Separate gym for girls is there in the Girls Hostel. A meditation hall is built in the Department of Yoga to maintain mental and spiritual health of the students.
• Medical Facilities: Two Health Care Centers have been opened in the campus with appropriate medical facilities available for the entire fraternity. The Health Centre in the university is formerly known by the name A.U. Dispensary. Services are provided round the clock by senior medical officer, two medical officers, and six visiting consultants. A Female physician is appointed in the Health Centre for girl students. A Homeopathy Centre is attached to the Health Centre in the university campus. An ambulance is available 24x7 for emergency cases.
• Other Facilities: Museum, Wi-Fi, Animal House/Green House, Theatre and Art gallery, Central Instrumentation Centre, Moot Court, Media Laboratory/studios, Day Care Center, Rest rooms, Computer Centre, etc.
