Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management, & Gramothan is a private educational institute in Jaipur. The college began its journey in the year 2000 to provide higher education to the students and to build a career in the domain of Engineering and Management. SKIT is approved by AICTE and PCI and is affiliated to RTU (Rajasthan Technical University). The management of the college is working under the Chairmanship of Mr. S. R. Meel.
The College offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in management and engineering. The admission procedure of the college emphasizes on the post intermediate exams for further procedures. Admission in the B.Tech program starts after the end of JEE Main exam. Candidates clearing the JEE Main exam will be called for counseling. Candidates not appearing for the JEE Main exam can apply for the SKIT B.Tech admissions based on their 10+2 marks.
In the score of Quality Index Value of 819/1000, SKIT ranked 1st by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. SKIT has received the 1st prize at the “Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award-2017” by The Government of Rajasthan, Department of Energy. In the National Education Summit, the college received the award as the Best Institute Award for Outstanding Placement Record in Rajasthan. SKIT College received Indian Award for Best Promising Engineering institute nominated by Dainik Jagaran Group.
The college has its central library popular by the name Gyandan Resource Center. This well-furnished library owns modern facilities and is spread in an area of 975 sq. m. currently, this large library has a subscription of more than 359 national and international journals that belongs to the Management and Engineering fields. With the help of LIBSYS software, operations of the library are automated. Also, the library has a collection of audio-visual material, CD-ROM database, lectures & tutorials, online video, easy access to e-journals. The central library assists the digital library by assisting with the intranet network. Along with this, the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) options are given to the users.
