In MCA, one is dependent heavily on teaching because most students who did BCA or B.Sc (IT) were the ones who did MCA from here and we all could see the difference between both the courses. So, it became inevitable for the college to start from the scratch and to do that our classes went on till the 11th hour because even the faculties were shocked to see that we hardly knew anything. After spending long hours in college, self-study too became mandatory and classmates became way more important because everyone had their expertise in something or the other. I had some friends in PICT and they too helped me a lot because the course is even tougher than M. Tech for students who have done BCA before. For M. Tech only B. Tech students are eligible and they have the required knowledge and skills to take it further from there but not us.Read Full Review

Getting through here is not an option as I have already seen the challenges that jobs have these days, so I decided to get the best version of myself here. Luckily, the college allows that because one can ask as many questions, go to the faculties at will and yet if they have doubted a lot of journals and online teaching material was available in library. So, if one asks question on whether or not the education needs some changes, I would say none. So, one piece of advice if I could give in my feedback to the college would be that they should continue on this pathway as academics has what made DR DY Patil a world-famous name today.Read Full Review
