The college has a dedicated placement and training cell, which provides training to the students so that they become capable to fulfill the industrial needs, once they step into the professional world. To develop professional as well as other skills among the students, the college organises various workshops, seminars, conferences, etc. in which various recruiters participate, to provide placements to the students who are acquainted with professional & social ethics. A number of recruiters visit the campus each year, such as, Accenture, Amazon, American Megatrends, Axis Bank, Ashok Leyland, Infosys, Ford, ICICI Bank, Amadeus, Oracle, PayPal, Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL, Hyundai, and many more.

SKCET is dedicated towards providing students with best as well as latest infrastructural & other facilities. The infrastructure of the college includes a well equipped library, classroom, laboratories, hostel, gym, as well as facilities of transport, sports, medical room, etc.

• Hostel: Furnished with all the amenities, the college provides a hostel which includes spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, separate study area, etc. The hostel provides a safe space to students, so that they can focus on their academics as well as social development.
• Library: Named as ‘Vankatram Learning Centre’, the college has a central library that provides a wide collection of books, references, digital resources, visual resources, etc. The library is managed by a professional librarian and a dedicated team, who are acquainted with the use of latest technologies, such as KOHA, RFID, Barcode, etc, which makes the system fully automated. A digital library and a rare collection of encyclopedias, hand books, manuscripts & volumes are also provided.
• Sports: To provide students a healthy lifestyle in order to keep their mind & body healthy, a playground of around 7.5 acres has been laid down by the college. The college provides facilities for outdoor as well as indoor games such as, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Carom and Chess. For various sports fest organised by the college, recently, a stadium has been established which consists of various courts and sections for different sports activities.
• Gymnasium: College provides separate gym facilities for both boys & girls students. To promote health and fitness, latest equipment for activities like weight lifting, bodybuilding, and fitness have been provided, such as, treadmills, dumbbells, cable machines, smith machines, etc.
• Laboratories: For development of practical knowledge of the students, each department consists of well equipped labs, so that students can complete their experiments and research work with complete efficiency. The lab facility includes, survey lab, concrete lab, digital lab, soil mechanics lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, etc.
• Transport: Transport facilities with equipment such as CCTV, First Aid Boxes, Speed Control Devices, are provided by the college. There are 15+ (AC/ Non-AC) buses, which makes it easier for students to commute to the campus even from far places, as well.

Apart from these facilities the college also provides health & medical facilities. It has established various clubs, including, Eco club, Creative club, Cyber Security club, Innovative Club, Robotics Club, Literacy Club, so that students can indulge into extracurricular activities, in order to enhance their social abilities.
