R.M.K. Engineering College hostel buildings are built separately for boys as well as girls. Three blocks are available for boys' hostels. The boy's hostel has 100 rooms over three floors and has accommodation for 300 students from 2nd year. Similarly, two other hostels provide accommodation for 1st, 3rd, and 4th-year scholars. On the other hand, the girl's hostel also has three blocks. Hostels can accommodate more than 400 students.

No scholar is permitted to stay in the hostel, without permission from the warden.
The study hours in the hostel are fixed. During study hours, the students should stay in their rooms. Group discussions should be avoided.
Students are not allowed to use the college bus.
Students should keep their rooms neat and they are solely responsible for the furniture provided to them.
